Peter Schiff and Sound Economics

June 16, 2009

This video is so good at explaining the Austrian perspective on how to handle a broken economy, and how it happened.

Man. Why is logic so out of fashion these days?

DHS – Right Wing Extremists

April 15, 2009

So, the other Janet says that you are a terrorist Right Wing Extremist if you have any of the following characteristics:

1. Pro Life
2. Pro Second Amendment
3. Libertarian
4. Pro State’s Rights
5. Anti-Government
6. Tax Protester
7. War Veteran

I’m sure there’s more. Seems like they don’t like critical analysis at all. You have something negative to say, true or not, you might be a terrorist.

If you have any of these characteristics, you are a danger to society.

I want to say that I’m surprised, but I’m not. More so, I’m saddened to see our country go down the toilet of totalitarianism.

God is my King, not some president who cut his teeth on communism and leftist radicalism.

Racism in the Congress

December 30, 2008

This from Drudge:

“Congressman Bobby Rush: ‘This is a matter of national importance. There are no African Americans in the Senate, and I don’t think that anyone, any U.S. senator who’s sitting in the Senate right now, wanna go on record to DENY one African American from being seated in the U.S. Senate. I don’t think they want to go on record doing that’… ”

So we should allow someone to be selected for one of the most powerful positions in the world based on his skin color? How very jim crowe of you, Mr Rush.

Because Public Schools Create Social Genuises…

November 13, 2008

Social Outcasts.

Oh yeah, my kids are gonna be homeschooled.

Nothing Obama can do about that.

Now back to my “abstaining” from the news.  It is a lot harder than it looks.

Is Conservatism Dead?

November 5, 2008

This may spell the death of the GOP as we know it.  For years, we have allowed the neoconservative movement run things, and frankly, people were fed up.  Since most of the left believes Bush is representative of true conservatism, they swung more socialist by electing the most liberal senator.

Congratulations, GOP, you may finally be on your way back to your libertarian roots.  It will take years of infighting and grassroots movements, but I hope and pray this spells the death of the neocon super power.

Am I worried about our president elect?  No, not really.  Sure, the man is for breaking the necks of newborn babies, but he will have to contend with God with his decisions.  I pray the man starts reading some non-socialist literature, embraces Austrian Economics, and shrinks the fed.  Fat chance.  Maybe after four years of an Obama presidency, Americans will tire of the liberal wings of the Republican and Democrat parties.

You see, we had our chance.  Ron Paul.  Here was a man of sound economic and diplomatic principals.  A man who warned us about Fannie and Freddie and the implications of government sponsored enterprises.  Unfortunately, the media stifled him, and the neoconservative establishment ridiculed him.

Fortunately, he’s not done.  Just go to http://campaignforliberty.com/ and sign up.  Start to bring real change to this country.

Walk at lunch

November 4, 2008

I took a walk at lunch today.  This really helped to clear my head.  I’m not too concerned about the election, because the two main candidates are not appealing to me.  I really hoped that by now, the Christian right would be through with the Republican party, but apparently they’re not.  I guess McCain knew what he was doing when he chose Palin.

I like Palin, but I don’t think she’ll be an influential VP.  She won’t be like Dick Cheney, that is for sure.

I ran into no lines this morning when going to vote.  The entire process was simple.  I wrote in Ron Paul.  Maybe we’ll see a man like Ron Paul in the White House years from now.  For now, I believe we’re in for some fun and socialistic times!

I only watched six minutes of her interview, but…

September 26, 2008

I’m left feeling that Sarah Palin is not too bright.  I hope she proves me wrong in future interviews, but she was horribly unprepared, and she came off like a deer stuck in the headlights.  The consensus seems to feel that she didn’t display herself in the most informed and intelligent light.

As I have stated before, I’m not voting for McCain/Palin.  I leaned towards liking Palin for her conservative values, but not enough to hold my nose when voting.  If she continues to present herself as a dummy, her VP career will be over.  Seriously, she looked worse then Bush.  Granted, I didn’t hear the typical Obama “Um, uh, er, uh, um” fillers, so that’s something.

Don’t get me wrong.  I still think Obama is pretty stupid.  He carries around his teleprompter like my toddler carries her dolly.  And if he ever gets in office (which is looking more likely), we’re in for some crazy stupid times, yo!
